1. About OttoSM

OttoSM is a social media management service. It drafts posts with AI, schedules and publishes them to the channels you connect, runs paid advertising campaigns you configure, and reports on the results.

Otto assists you; it does not replace your judgement. You remain responsible for everything published from your account.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must give accurate registration details and keep them current
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your login, so keep your password private
• Tell us promptly at privacy@ottosm.com if you think your account has been compromised

3. Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of everything you upload or create: your products, images, videos, captions and brand material.

You grant us only the licence we need to operate the service — to store your content, process it, generate variations of it at your request, and publish it to the channels you have connected. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies retained in routine backups for a short period.

4. AI-generated content

Otto's drafts are suggestions, not finished work. AI can produce text or images that are inaccurate, generic, or unsuitable for your brand.

You are responsible for reviewing anything before it is published. You must not use OttoSM to publish content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property. Where a platform requires AI-generated media to be labelled, meeting that requirement is your responsibility.

5. Connected platforms

OttoSM publishes to third-party platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X. Each has its own terms and content policies, and you must comply with them. A platform can reject your content, restrict your account, or change or withdraw its API at any time.

When that happens, features may stop working or behave differently through no fault of ours. We will do what we reasonably can to adapt, but we cannot guarantee continued access to any third-party platform.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Send spam, or publish hate speech, harassment, or adult content
• Impersonate any person or business
• Upload malware, or attempt to break, probe or overload the service
• Scrape the service, or resell or white-label it without our written agreement
• Try to bypass your plan's usage limits, or share one account across separate businesses

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section.

7. Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance for each billing cycle and renew until you cancel. Prices are shown before you buy and may change with notice for future cycles.

Advertising spend is separate from your subscription. Money you budget for campaigns is paid to the advertising platform, not to OttoSM. Cancellation and refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

8. Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim for high uptime and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost profits or goodwill, or for advertising spend that a platform rejects, wastes or fails to deliver.

Our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as permitted.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using OttoSM and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if payment fails, or if we are required to by law.

After termination you have 30 days to export your data before it is deleted, apart from records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Surat, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
